The new course Level 1: Coaching Beginner Players is designed to share the experience of RPPk in teaching techniques to those pickleball instructors & coaches who start working full or part time with Pickleball beginner players. Also, for teachers or coaches who want to improve or enhance their knowledge, for amateurs players who are interested in teaching guidelines and improving their own performance. To participate in Level 1: Coaching Beginner Players is mandatory to be minimum 18 years old.
The RPPk Level 1: Coaching Beginner Players has been entirely renewed with a new educational patent: tetafime, which is composed of 4 pillars: te/technical, ta/tactical, fi/physical and me/mental, which have been united, intertwined and interconnected so that any individual can reach their Ideal Competition State.

In addition, during the new Level 1: Coaching Beginners Players we will discuss about pickleball courts and the characteristics of equipment related to our sport, and the use of different teaching aids. Also during this course we will analyze the history of pickleball and its regulations, all the advantages that this sport offers for the player and its comparison with other racket sports such as tennis or padel.
At the end of the new Level 1: Coaching Beginners Players, all persons who have completed it, may apply to the written exam and on court to obtain the National degree of the United States Registry of Pickleball Professionals – RPPk USA and the International degree of International Registry of Pickleball Professionals – RPPk International:

The test is divided into 3 parts: Written, Teaching and Skills. The multiple-choice test is made up of 100 questions. In the teaching test you must deliver a lesson to a group of players using the methods presented during the course. In the skills test you must demonstrate your ability to execute the different basic strokes, as well as perform a ball feeding test. The information to help you prepare for the test is covered in the RPPk LEVEL 1 Course: Coaching Beginner Players. In addition, a continuous evaluation will be carried out during the course for each participant, which will help to determine the final result.
To obtain the RPPk NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL qualification, you must obtain a minimum of 60% in all three parts of the test.
Accreditation and benefits
- RPPk Club Comprehensive Professional Services that will be valid until 31 December of the current year, and include:
· Individual Civil Liability* Insurance for a value of €600,000.

International Pickleball Teaching & Coaching License
Once you have completed the RPPk professional training programmes and passed the corresponding exams, you will receive a new professional licence to teach pickleball from the International Registry of Pickleball Professionals (RPPk International), the United States Registry of Pickleball Professionals (RPPk USA), the European Registry of Pickleball Professionals (RPPk Europe) and the Professional Pickleball Registry (RPPk).
The RPPk’s contribution to the development and success of pickleball will be decisive, with its international leadership in professional training programmes and in the certification of pickleball coaches, with the SECURITY & GUARANTEE of its PROFESSIONAL LICENSE to teach the sport of PICKLEBALL WORLDWIDE.
Professional accreditation
Once you have completed the RPPk professional training programmes, and once you have passed the corresponding exams, you will receive a new professional accreditation from the International Coaches Institute, and another from the Registry of Pickleball Professionals which will certify, depending on the levels studied and the qualifications obtained, the hours completed and distributed according to the following areas: Classroom Training, Preparation and Study, Online Training, Personal Development and Professional Experience, with the aim of facing the future new framework of the regulation of the profession and sports qualifications with guarantees.
International Qualifications
Once you have taken and completed the RPPk professional training programmes and passed the corresponding exams, you will receive your professional certification from the United States Registry of Pickleball Professionals – RPPk USA and the International Registry of Pickleball Professionals – RPPk International.
- The Registry of Pickleball Professionals (RPPk) & Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) are launching a new certification and accreditation programme. Existing RPPk qualifications will have the following accreditation with DUPR:
- Level 1: RPPk National Professional (at this level there will be no validation as it is the basic level)
- Level 2: RPPk International Professional = DUPR Team Coach
- Accelerated (L1+L2): RPPk International Professional = DUPR Team Coach
- Level 3: RPPk Director of Pickleball = DUPR Team Coach
- World Tour Integral: RPPk Director of Pickleball = DUPR Team Coach
Qualifications endorsed and recognised by RFET/ Pickleball & AEP – Pickleball Spain.
All training programmes, certification and qualifications and the comprehensive professional services of the Registry Profesional de Pickleball – RPPk are validated and recognised by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation – RFET / PICKLEBALL and by the Spanish Pickleball Association – Pickleball Spain.
Once you have taken and completed the RPPk professional training programmes, and once you have passed the corresponding exams, you will receive an accredited diploma from the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation – RFET / PICKLEBALL and from the Spanish Pickleball Association – Pickleball Spain with the qualification corresponding to the course you have taken. You will also obtain a federal pickleball licence from the RFET / Pickleball.
All RPPk qualifications are recognised and endorsed by the International Coaches Institute, which since 1989 has a presence in 130 countries and has more than 50,000 certified sports coaches.
